I can see your getting the odd spam comment because your using keywordluv. I feel your pain mate…using Bad Behavior and Akismet at least kills off the obvious spammers :p
Been using the keyword love idea for a while and it’s been pretty useful in getting up in the rankings, we definitely suggest it to anyone looking to increase their google rank.

Dofollow is a great way to get backlinks to your website.
Many people abuse this system, and so you need to moderate your blog if you make it dofollw, but making it dofollow may also get you a lot of incoming links from other websites that link to dofollow blogs. If you comment in a dofollow blog, try ro make it a thoughtful comment that adds something to the blog.
I am a huge fan of this plugin and I wish more bloggers would use it! I understand the issue bloggers have with spam though!

Has anyone had the same problem as I have with SeoQuake ?
After using it for a while, I gat a notice from Google stating the I am quering their site as a bot. I have to verify every time I try to search with Google.
The way around this annoyance is to change your IP. If you are using a dynamic IP all you have to do is cloan your IP then un-plug your modem and router. When you plug them back in, you will be assigned a new IP.
KeywordLuv and commentluv are very useful plugin for your WordPress blog and for the longest time I have been using it to share link love to the commenters on my blog.i got more traffic on my site.
I have converted my 3 blogs to dofollow.Now i am getting a lot of spam comments.But it is a good way to get backlinks and improve the pagerank.
About this KeywordLuv plugin…just when I thought I had found the most valuable plugins, I come across this one. Needless to say, it has to be one of the simplest yet most valuable ones out there. While on the subject of valuable plugins, I use WP-DB Manager which I strongly recomment. It does a full backup of your database and emails it to you per your schedule. Cheers.

I think Keyword Luv is a great idea as it rewards people who leave quality comments on a blog. I think that more blog owners need to incorporate this into their site.
